-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the story of Krishna's naughty pastimes as a child of stealing butter with his big brother Balarama and sharing it with the monkeys. Krishna in this lila (pastime) is known as Makhan Chor! 'Makhan' means butter, and 'chor' means thief.
At this point Krishna is getting caught by His mother Yashoda who will then capture Him which leads to the next part of the lila of Damodarastakam which is celebrated even still today every year especially in India.
