This painting was airbrushed on a wall 8 ft. high. Close up you can see the soft airbrush effects of blended colors. Radha and Krishna are seen in a pastime where Krishna pretends to go as Radha pulls Him back to her swing, surrounded by the birds, butterflies, waterfalls and flowers of their exotic forest grove.
I have had many teachers of art over time as I've evolved with my particular style. My paintings have become more of a consequence of meditation rather than the result of sensual stimulation as we find an abundance of in the art world today. So I can say that these paintings are the outcome of my studying, not simply fanciful imaginations. I base my work on the descriptions found in Vedic and Vaishnava scripture. I study, the visions come, I meditate, I draw, then paint. It is nothing mystical to me, except that I realize all creativity springs from the same unified source where the soul's devotion is directed to. The softness of the air brush is very beautiful. I love how you have enhanced it with fine details which give a realistic level of detail. The butterly, edges of the clothing and the beautiful faces etc makes for such an amazing expression of the beauty of Krishna and his pastimes with Radharani in Vrindavan.
