Krishnachandra is the name given to the darling of Vraja, which is in Vrindavana India. He is the most beloved and beautiful incarnation of the Divine Godhead. "Krishna" means dark and beautiful, and "chandra" means moon-like. Chandra is the name for the Moon in it's fullness and Krishna was known to have a moon-like face among other parts of his transcendental body which appeared like many moons. He was born into the family of the Chandra dynasty in India more than 3000 B.C.. Even today his pastimes on Earth are written and sung about and handed down from one generation to the next.
